Lingjia Liu is a professor of electrical and computer engineering (ECE), Bradley Senior Faculty Fellow, and a member of the Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Tech Innovation Campus faculty. He also serves as the Director of Wireless@Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Tech. His research interests include 6G networks, machine learning for wireless, Open RAN, and dynamic spectrum access/sharing. Prior to joining the ECE Department at Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Tech, he was an associate professor in the EECS Department at the University of Kansas (KU). Liu was recognized among the 2011 New Faces of Engineering by the Diversity Council of the National Engineers Week Foundation. From 2013 to 2017, he was selected as a U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)/Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) summer faculty fellow. In 2015, he received the Miller Professional Development Award for Distinguished Research at KU. In 2021, he received Ïã½¶ÊÓÆµ Tech College of Engineering Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research.

Liu is serving on the executive committee of the of the   and was on the editorial boards of various international journals. Liu has held positions in the , and the  of Samsung Research America, where he twice received the Global Samsung Best Paper Award.
